Life with Kids - Part Sixteen

*Oooppsie*
Aria is pretty excited about her status as a toilet trained member of this household. She will tell anyone that she goes in the potty now. She doesn't go in her pants any more, eeewww, that's so gross! You're risking major insult if you ask her if she had an accident. I've had to clear up a number of arguments involving her and Aubrie. See, Aubrie has always been the 'Sniffer' in the house. The one who brings a non-toilet trained tot over to me proclaiming that the stench is horrible, and the offender needs to be changed. This role was never actually assigned to her, she just took it on, one of those big sister kind of duties I guess. It's never created a problem before, but now, wooo, don't let Aria pass gass near Aubrie, or they're ready to come to blows over it, because NO, Aria did not poop her pants! Needless to say potty training is a quite unpleasant experience, and when it is completed the relief and excitement is indescribable. The newly potty-trained tot is quick to pick up on this, and, say, use it to their advantage. Aria has been heard to ask, too many times to count, if she can have _________, or do _________, because she goes in the potty.
So on to the dinner table yesterday night..................
Aria's poor Daddy has been having a hard time at work. And to top it all off, he had to come home and cut the yard. (I was afraid that we would loose one of the kids out there......well, not quite, but it was getting pretty over grown.) Just as we're finishing dinner he leans back in his chair and announces "I'm ka-pooped!" Aria looks over, shocked, and says "My Dad pooped his pants??!!"
