Grandma didn't tell her that, but they wen't to the store and bought allergy medication, and totally passed the ice cream up, so I guess that must have been it.

I guess I need to redeem myself here. I am the grandma who didn't buy the ice cream.
We had gone to the store to get her Gramps a birthday cake and couldn't buy ice cream because the freezer in the trailer didn't have room.
I know it's terribly disappointing to have birthday cake without ice cream. :-)
